Charter Fishing

Lake Michigan showcases more than 1,600 miles of coastline. In Sheboygan, we know Lake Michigan is really an inland sea, and we know what to do with it. This isn’t your average fishing hole. During the spring and summer months, our charter fishing industry harvests a variety of trout in the 10-20 pound range. And toward fall, the trophy fish come in at 20-40 pounds among Coho, Rainbows, Browns and Lake Trout and of course, Chinook–affectionately known as King Salmon. So, the only question you have to ask about your catch is: Trophy or Food?

If you do happen to pull out a trophy fish on a Sheboygan charter boat, don’t worry. The captain and crew will never let you send it off to Schwarz Fish Company for smoking and shipping back home. If by chance they do let you eat your trophy, you’ll have a great story for the next excursion, and you’ll be a great story for the locals.
