More than 30 Artists’ booths, artists’ demonstrations, a silent auction, a variety of music, food and drinks available throughout the day. This exciting community event is a great way to kick off summer in downtown Plymouth and promises something for all ages!
Two days of wonderful art, music, sunshine, and fun at the Midsummer Festival of the Arts, set amidst the gardens of this major innovative grassroots arts center, the largest multi-arts event in East-Central Wisconsin. This exciting festival attracts tens of thousands of visitors who shop the 135 artists’ booths and enjoy live music, creative activities for families, free admission to the John Michael Kohler Arts Center, delicious local cuisine, and much more. Saturday hours are 10:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.; Sunday hours are 10:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.
An event benefiting the Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin, Miesfeld’s Lakeshore weekend is not just your average festival. It has food, drinks, games, rides, live music… and dragon boat races! Head on down to Sheboygan’s South Pier for a day of fun with the family.
This annual special event brings the history of the American Civil War to life. Held the last weekend in September, Civil War Weekend is two action-filled days of battle re-enactments, military drills, medical care situations, period music and food, demonstrations, and more. The weekend spectacle involves more than 500 re-enactors. And each year features a different historic scenario crucial to the outcome of the war.
Wisconsin’s only children’s book festival is a free, fun celebration of books and reading for kids, teens, families, and book lovers of all ages. This year’s Sheboygan Children’s Book Festival will highlight imagination and inspiration in books for children and teens.
