Group Tour Information

Sheboygan is the perfect destination for your group tour!

Looking to see unique venues, or enjoy great meals at reasonable prices?

Sheboygan is the place to experience a variety of great things to see and do.

Visit the Stefanie Weill Center for the Performing Arts.  Originally known as the Sheboygan Theater, the Weill Center was constructed in 1927-1928 for Universal Pictures Corporation at a cost of $600,000.

Designed in the Spanish Colonial Revival style, it is a fine example of the "atmospheric" movie theater developed in the 1920's.

On December 31, 1996, the Sheboygan Community Theatre Foundation purchased the building to restore and operate the historic theater.  The property was placed on the National Register of Historic Places and the State of Wisconsin Register of Historic Places on December 22, 1999.  The theater's second grand opening came in October 2001 with a gala performance by the Sheboygan Symphony Orchestra.

Visit the John Michael Kohler Arts Center:

The Kohler Arts Center is home to more than eight specialty galleries including the learning gallery for children, the arts/industry gallery and the community gallery.

The JMKAC is also proud to feature a variety of performing arts in their very own Playhouse and Performing Arts Studio.  The exterior grounds feature the Café Terrace, Festival Green and the Sculpture Garden.  Enjoy lunch or a mid-day treat at the ARTcafé.   Be sure to visit all six renowned restrooms!

We have fun, diverse and unique retail shops located on Historic Michigan Avenue, 8th Street (our Downtown Main Street), at the Riverfront Shanties and on the newly developed South Pier.

We have several dining establishments that are ready to welcome your group.

Take a step in time and visit the Sheboygan County Historical Museum:  The complex includes a stately brick building reflecting Judge David Taylor's career and the era of 1850 through 1900; visit the 1864 Weinhold Family homestead; explore the 1890 Schuchardt Barn and see rural agricultural displays; tour the 1867 Bodenstab Cheese Factory and see the display of early commercial cheese making implements.

A recent addition of 20,000 square feet features seasonal displays, temporary exhibits, a classroom and the museum store.

Summer activities include the Farmers Market, held each Wednesday and Saturday 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. beginning in June and continuing through October at Fountain Park.

Mayor Juan Perez invites you to the Twilight Concert Series on Wednesdays and Fridays from June through August in Fountain Park.  Live music includes polka bands, the Sheboygan Pops and other area musicians.

Enjoy music on the Riverfront Boardwalk Saturday, sponsored by the Harbor Centre Business Improvement District.

Looking for something fun and entertaning?  Catch baseball as it was meant to be experienced by attending a Sheboygan A's game.
